2021.04.152021 IF DESIGN AWARD Winner

JDW가 디자인한 세스코 Smart Fit 정수기가 ‘2021 iF Design Award’ 제품 디자인 부문에서 위너(Winner)로 선정되었습니다.

Smart Fit은 세스코 정수기 라인업의 시그니처 모델로, 8가지 컬러 플레이트를 통해 공간과 감성에 맞춘 스타일을 제안합니다.

전면 플레이트는 네오디뮴 자석 구조로 분리 없이 손쉽게 교체할 수 있어, 언제나 새로운 느낌을 제공합니다.


JDW’s design for CESCO’s Smart Fit Direct Water Purifier was selected as a Winner in the Product category of the 2021 iF Design Award.

As the signature model of CESCO’s purifier lineup, it offers eight color plates, each with its own unique story and mood.

Thanks to its neodymium magnetic structure, users can easily replace the front plate within seconds, allowing for a fresh new look at any time.

2021.04.292021 CES INNOVATION AWARDS

JDW가 개발에 참여한 비햅틱스의 TactSuit X40이 ‘2021 CES’에서 혁신상(Innovation Award)을 수상했습니다.

TactSuit X40은 40개의 진동 모터로 정교한 햅틱 피드백을 구현하는 무선 햅틱 베스트로,

VR·AR·콘솔·PC 콘텐츠와 연동되어 현실감 넘치는 몰입 경험을 제공합니다.


JDW collaborated in the development of TactSuit X40 by bHaptics, which received the Innovation Award at CES 2021.

The wireless haptic vest delivers precise tactile feedback through 40 vibration motors, enabling a highly immersive experience across VR, AR, console, and PC platforms.

With its lightweight, one-size-fits-all design and long-lasting 15-hour battery, the TactSuit X40 represents the next generation of wearable haptic technology.





2021.05.032021 IF DESIGN AWARD Winner

JDW가 개발에 참여한 비햅틱스의 TactSuit X40이 ‘2021 iF Design Award’ 제품 디자인 부문에서 위너(Winner)로 선정되었습니다.

가벼운 착용감과 유연한 사이즈 설계로 차세대 웨어러블 디바이스의 새로운 가능성을 제시했습니다.


JDW contributed to the development of TactSuit X40 by bHaptics, which was selected as a Winner in the Product Design category of the 2021 iF Design Award.

Its lightweight, one-size-fits-all design represents a new milestone in wearable haptic technology for consumers.





2021.06.18노르디스크 워터저그 런칭

JDW가 디자인한 노르디스크 워터저그 굿즈가 출시되었습니다.

3.4L 용량의 워터 디스펜서로, 실온 25도 기준 약 36시간의 보냉 기능을 제공합니다.

GS25 x 노르디스크 이벤트를 위해 제작된 이 제품은 매 오픈마다 1,901개 한정 수량이 몇 분 만에 완판되며 큰 인기를 얻었습니다.


JDW designed the Nordisk Water Jug Goods, a 3.4L water dispenser offering up to 36 hours of cooling performance at room temperature (25°C).

Developed for the GS25 x Nordisk collaboration event, each batch of 1,901 units sold out within minutes of release, reflecting strong consumer enthusiasm and brand appeal.





2021.07.20버드와이저 쿨러 테이블 런칭

JDW가 디자인한 버드와이저 아이스박스 테이블이 공개되었습니다.

쿨러 기능과 간이 테이블 역할을 동시에 수행하는 다기능 제품으로, 튼튼한 핸들과 숨겨진 락킹 시스템이 심플한 멋을 더합니다.

버드와이저 고유의 강렬한 레드 컬러와 정제된 면 처리로 브랜드의 에너지를 담아냈습니다.


JDW designed the Budweiser Icebox Table, combining the practicality of a cooler with the versatility of a compact table.

Its solid handle and hidden locking system add a refined touch to the minimalist form.

The bold red color and precisely cut surfaces capture Budweiser’s energetic and confident brand identity.





2021.07.29스텔라 쿨러 런칭

JDW가 디자인한 스텔라 쿨러가 공개되었습니다.

매트한 화이트 컬러와 부드럽게 라운드 처리된 모서리, 수십 번의 모델링 끝에 완성된 정제된 곡선이 조화롭게 어우러집니다.

오랜 스텔라 아르투아의 헤리티지를 담은 레더 스타일 핸들과 강렬한 레드 로고가 브랜드의 품격을 완성합니다.

JDW는 단순한 굿즈를 넘어, 세상에 하나뿐인 오리지널 제품을 만듭니다.


JDW designed the Stella Cooler, featuring a matte white finish and gently rounded edges refined through dozens of design iterations.

Its soft, balanced curves, leather-style handle inspired by Stella Artois’ long heritage, and the signature red logo together express timeless elegance.

More than just a branded good, it is crafted as a truly original product — unique in both design and spirit.

2021.08.05LG그램 블랙라벨 출시

‘Flat’과 ‘Edge’를 컨셉으로 디자인한 그램 마우스가 ‘LG 그램 블랙 라벨’로 출시되었습니다.

스타일과 사용성의 균형을 위해 3D 프린터와 CNC 머시닝을 활용한 반복적인 목업 테스트를 진행했으며,

그램 특유의 미니멀한 감성과 인체공학적 그립감을 디자인으로 구현했습니다.


Designed under the concept of Flat and Edge, the Gram Mouse has been launched as part of the LG Gram Black Label lineup.

Through multiple mock-up tests using 3D printing and CNC machining, JDW refined the balance between style and usability.

The result embodies LG Gram’s minimal aesthetic while delivering an ergonomic grip for long, comfortable use.





2021.09.23Mobile Media Platform MOTOV 3.0 출시

JDW가 디자인한 모빌리티 어반테크 기업 *모토브(MOTOV)*의 차량용 광고 플랫폼 모토브 3.0 디바이스가 출시되었습니다.

이 디바이스는 약 30여 개의 IoT 센서를 통해 유동 인구, 교통, 안전 등 도시 데이터를 수집하고, 이를 기반으로 실시간 상황인지형 광고를 제공합니다.

공기역학 실험을 거쳐 안정성과 효율성을 높였으며, 37인치 디스플레이와 전·후면 LED 인디케이터로 직관적인 사용자 경험을 완성했습니다.


JDW designed the MOTOV 3.0 Device, an in-vehicle advertising platform developed by the urban mobility tech company MOTOV.

Equipped with more than 30 IoT sensors, the device collects real-time urban data such as traffic, safety, and pedestrian flow, enabling context-aware advertising and public data utilization.

Through aerodynamic testing, both hardware and software performance were enhanced, while the 37-inch display and front/rear LED indicators deliver a compact yet intuitive user experience.





2021.10.06대한민국디자인대상 대통령표창 수상

JDW가 제23회 대한민국디자인대상에서 디자인전문회사 부문 최고상인 대통령표창을 수상했습니다.

이번 수상은 JDW 임직원의 열정과 고객사의 신뢰, 그리고 함께 응원해 주신 모든 분들의 마음이 모여 이뤄낸 결과입니다.

12년간 변함없이 디자인의 가치를 믿고 달려온 것처럼, 앞으로도 새로운 도약을 위해 최선을 다하겠습니다.


JDW has been honored with the Presidential Citation, the highest recognition in the Design Professional Company category at the 23rd Korea Design Awards.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our team, the trust of our clients, and the continued support of everyone who believes in our journey.

As we have for the past 12 years, JDW will continue to pursue meaningful design and strive toward greater innovation.





2021.12.012021 SZIDF 참가

JDW가 *SZIDF 2021(심천 국제디자인 박람회)*에 참가했습니다.

SZIDF는 전 세계 디자인 기업과 디자이너, 그리고 미래의 디자이너들이 자유롭게 교류하는 국제 디자인 플랫폼입니다.

올해는 Covid-19의 여파로 한국 본사에서는 참여하지 못했지만, 현지에서는 여전히 높은 관심과 열기를 느낄 수 있었습니다.

조속히 다시 직접 소통할 수 있는 날을 기대합니다.


JDW participated in SZIDF 2021 (Shenzhen International Design Fair), an event where global design companies, professionals, and aspiring designers freely share ideas and inspiration.

Although the Korea headquarters could not attend in person due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19, the local presence reaffirmed the event’s strong energy and continued global interest.

We look forward to the day we can engage and connect face-to-face once again.





2021.12.152021 it-Award

JDW가 2021 it-Award에서 Carepod Cube와 모토브 3.0 스마트 미디어 디바이스로 대상 2관왕의 영예를 안았습니다.

특히 Carepod Cube는 특별상인 한국디자인산업연합회장상까지 수상하며 더욱 뜻깊은 결과를 거두었습니다.

올해는 Covid-19의 여파로 시상식이 열리지 못했지만, 함께한 디자이너와 파트너사의 노고에 깊은 감사를 전합니다.


JDW received dual Grand Prizes at the 2021 it-Award with Carepod Cube and MOTOV 3.0 Smart Media Device.

In particular, Carepod Cube was additionally honored with the Special Award from the Korea Federation of Design Industry Associations, marking a truly meaningful achievement.

Although the official ceremony was canceled due to Covid-19, we extend our sincere gratitude to our designers and partners for their dedication and collaboration.

JDW가 디자인한 청호 언택트 메타 디지털 정수기가 2021 GOOD DESIGN AWARD에서 Winner로 선정되었습니다.

감각적인 사용자 경험(UX)과 비대면 시대에 적합한 인터랙션 디자인으로 높은 평가를 받았습니다.


The Untact Meta Digital Water Purifier designed by JDW for CHUNGHO has been selected as a Winner at the 2021 GOOD DESIGN AWARD.

The product was recognized for its refined user experience and contactless interaction design suited for the digital era.
