2019.01.042019 부서장, 팀장 리더쉽 교육

JDW는 새해를 맞아 부서장 및 팀장 리더십 교육을 진행했습니다.

지속 가능한 성장과 글로벌 디자인 기업으로의 도약을 위해 다양한 과제를 함께 고민하는 시간이었습니다.

진행을 맡아주신 이정창 고문님과 강연을 진행해주신 독일의 Lukas Beech 님께 감사드립니다.


To begin the new year, JDW held a leadership training session for department and team leaders.

It was an opportunity to reflect on sustainable growth and the path toward becoming a truly global design company.

Special thanks to Advisor Jung-Chang Lee for leading the session and to Mr. Lukas Beech from Germany for his insightful lecture.





2019.01.132019 CES 참관

JDW는 미국 라스베이거스에서 열린 세계 최대 가전 전시회 ‘CES 2019’를 참관했습니다.

어드밴스드 디자인팀 팀장과 두 명의 디자이너가 참가해 글로벌 트렌드와 기술 변화를 직접 경험하며 새로운 영감을 얻었습니다.

JDW는 디자이너들의 시야 확장과 창의적 성장을 위해 해외 전시 참관 프로그램 ‘Look n Feel’을 운영하고 있습니다.


JDW attended CES 2019, the world’s largest consumer electronics exhibition held in Las Vegas.

Led by the Advanced Design Team, three designers explored global trends and emerging technologies, gaining valuable creative insights.

Through its “Look n Feel” program, JDW continues to encourage designers to broaden their perspectives and engage with the world of design innovation.





2019.01.14JDW Shenzhen 사무실 이전

JDW 심천지사가 새해 1월 12일, 업무 중심지구인 푸티엔(Futian)에서 예술·창의 중심지인 난산(Nanshan) 지역으로 사무실을 이전했습니다.

새로운 공간은 디자이너들의 창의성과 에너지를 확장시키는 또 하나의 출발점이 될 것입니다.


On January 12, JDW’s Shenzhen office relocated from the business district of Futian to the creative hub of Nanshan.

The new environment is designed to inspire greater creativity and motivation, marking a fresh chapter for the JDW design team.

JDW가 한국산업디자인진흥원(KIDP)에서 주관하는 ‘2019 우수디자인 선도기업’으로 선정되었습니다.

이는 고객사의 신뢰와 JDW 디자이너들의 헌신이 만들어낸 값진 성과입니다.

2019.01.25김영세의 기업가정신 콘서트 강연

JDW 진철 대표가 한국경제TV의 ‘김영세의 기업가정신 콘서트’에 강연자로 초청되었습니다.

‘융합디자인 경영’을 주제로 디자인 전문회사의 발전 방향과 기업가 정신에 대해 JDW의 사례와 비전을 나누었습니다.

JDW는 디자인과 산업의 경계를 넘어 지속 가능한 디자인 경영을 실천하는 기업으로 성장하고 있습니다.


JDW CEO Jin Cheol appeared as a guest speaker on Entrepreneurship Concert with Kim Young Se, a program by Korea Economic TV featuring leading CEOs.

In his lecture on “Convergent Design Management,” he shared JDW’s vision and insights on the role of design-driven leadership.

JDW continues to pursue sustainable growth by integrating design thinking across industries.

JDW에서 디자인한 Yili의 청소기 YLC6294가 ‘2019 iF Design Award Product 부문’에서 수상했습니다.


The YLC6294 vacuum cleaner, designed by JDW for Yili, has been honored in the Product category of the 2019 iF Design Award.





2019.01.312019 IF Design Award 수상

JDW에서 디자인한 Carepod 가습기가 ‘2019 iF Design Award Product 부문’에서 수상했습니다.

심플한 조형과 위생 중심의 구조로 완성된 Carepod는 일상 속 건강한 사용 경험을 제시하며 높은 평가를 받았습니다.


The Carepod humidifier, designed by JDW, has been honored in the Product category of the 2019 iF Design Award.

With its minimalist form and hygiene-focused structure, Carepod was recognized for delivering a refined and health-conscious user experience.





2019.10.172019 GOOD DESIGN AWARD JAPAN

JDW에서 디자인한 XGIMI의 단초점 프로젝터 A2가 ‘2019 Good Design Award Japan’을 수상했습니다.

Good Design Japan은 엄격한 심사 기준으로 매년 일본에서 개최되는 국제적 디자인 어워드로,

JDW의 디자인이 글로벌 시장에서 다시 한번 인정받는 계기가 되었습니다.


The A2 short-throw projector, designed by JDW for XGIMI, has received the 2019 Good Design Award Japan.

Recognized for its refined form and innovative functionality, the award reaffirms JDW’s design excellence in the global market.

The Good Design Japan is renowned for its rigorous evaluation standards and international prestige.





2019.08.12청호 얼음정수기 SANITA(세니타) 출시

JDW가 디자인한 청호 이과수 살균 얼음정수기 SANITA가 출시되었습니다.

SANITA는 4중 안심기술을 적용해 물은 물론 얼음까지 깨끗하게 제공하는 제품으로, 온 가족이 안심하고 사용할 수 있는 얼음 냉온정수기입니다.


The SANITA sterilizing ice water purifier, designed by JDW for Chungho Nais, has been released.

Featuring a four-step purification system, SANITA delivers both clean water and ice, providing a safe and hygienic experience for everyday use.





2019.09.10EUROBIKE 2019 참가

JDW가 디자인한 JINZO 전기자전거가 독일 프리드리히샤펜에서 열린 ‘2019 유로바이크쇼(EUROBIKE SHOW)’에 전시되었습니다.

친환경 모빌리티 산업이 주목받는 가운데, 많은 관람객들이 부스를 방문하며 높은 관심을 보였습니다.


The JINZO electric bicycle, designed by JDW, was showcased at the 2019 EUROBIKE Show in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

As the eco-friendly mobility industry continues to gain attention, JINZO attracted strong interest from visitors throughout the exhibition.





2019.07.012019 상반기 워크샵

JDW가 상반기를 마무리하며 전 임직원이 함께하는 워크숍을 진행했습니다.

바쁜 일정 속에서도 한자리에 모여 지난 6개월을 돌아보고 서로를 격려하는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

JDW는 남은 하반기에도 한층 더 성장한 디자인 기업으로 나아가기 위해 최선을 다하겠습니다.


JDW held its mid-year workshop to reflect on the first half of 2019 and celebrate the team’s dedication.

It was a meaningful occasion for members to gather, share experiences, and strengthen teamwork.

With renewed energy, JDW continues its commitment to growth and creative excellence in the second half of the year.





2019.12.122019 한국 IT DESIGN AWARD 3년 연속 대상 수상

JDW가 디자인한 로봇 바리스타 *비트(b;eat)*가 ‘2019 대한민국 IT 디자인어워드’ 제품디자인 부문에서 최고상을 수상했습니다.

이로써 JDW는 3년 연속 제품디자인 부문 최고상을 수상하는 기록을 이어가게 되었습니다.

또한 검사장비 옵티즌 나노Q 역시 본상을 수상하며 JDW의 디자인 역량을 다시 한번 입증했습니다.


The robotic barista b;eat, designed by JDW, received the Grand Prize in the Product Design category at the 2019 Korea IT Design Awards.

This marks JDW’s third consecutive year winning the top honor in this category.

Additionally, the inspection equipment Optizen NanoQ earned the Excellence Award, further showcasing JDW’s design capability and consistency.
